After the returnee many families to their area. renewed their grief amid harsh conditions, represented by the scarcity of basic harsh services in the region and the lack of services, most importantly, psychological and social health services.
Hope Makers Organization and with the support of the United Nations Population Fund, We take a holistic approach to providing mental health care to returnees and survivors of ISIS families and families of victims and violence. We understand the importance of mental health services and psychosocial support to survivors' ability to recover.
The Hope Makers Organization provides psychological treatments, there is a medical doctor specializing provide the treatment, as well as an outreach team in Sinjar and Snuni centers.
The number of beneficiaries of mental and social health services has reached more than 3,100 individuals since the beginning of support of this project funded by UNFPA.
