Visit of French Ambassador & French Council To HMOW's Center in Sinjar

استقبلت منظمة صناع الأمل للمرأة وفدًا مهمًا ضم السفير الفرنسي السيد باتريك دوريل والقنصل الفرنسي السيد جين كريستوف أوجيه. هدفت الزيارة إلى مركز تطوير وبناء قدرات الأطفال في سنجار للاطلاع على الوضع الحالي للمجتمع الأيزيدي بعد عودتهم إلى مناطقهم.

خلال الزيارة، أكد السفير الفرنسي السيد باتريك دوريل على تضامن فرنسا مع المجتمع الأيزيدي، مشيرًا إلى الاعتراف الرسمي بالإبادة التي تعرض لها الأيزيديون. وصرح السفير: "نعترف بالإبادة التي تعرض لها المجتمع الأيزيدي، ونؤكد على استمرار دعمنا للمجتمع الأيزيدي في سنجار."

في ختام الزيارة، قدمت المديرة التنفيذية لمنظمة صناع الأمل، الدكتورة نغم نوزت حسن، وفريق المنظمة، شكرهم العميق للسفير والقنصل الفرنسيين على حضورهم واهتمامهم الكبير بالمجتمع الأيزيدي. كما أعربوا عن امتنانهم للدعم المستمر الذي تقدمه الجمهورية الفرنسية لجهود إعادة بناء وتطوير المجتمع في سنجار.

تجسد هذه الزيارة عمق العلاقات الثنائية وتعزز التعاون المستقبلي لدعم قضايا حقوق الإنسان والتنمية في المنطقة.

The HMOW was honored to welcome an esteemed delegation comprising French Ambassador Mr. Patrick Durrell and French Consul Mr. Jean-Christophe Augé. The purpose of their visit to the Development and Capacity Building Center for Children in Sinjar was to assess the current conditions faced by the Yazidi community following their return to the region.

During the visit, Mr. Patrick Durrell expressed France's solidarity with the Yazidi community, highlighting the official recognition of the genocide they endured. The Ambassador stated, "We acknowledge the genocide that the Yazidi community has suffered, and we reaffirm our ongoing support for the Yazidi community in Sinjar."

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Nagham Nawzat Hassan, Executive Manager of HMOW, along with the team, conveyed their profound gratitude to the Ambassador and Consul for their visit and their significant concern for the Yazidi community. They also expressed their appreciation for the continuous support provided by the French Republic in the efforts to rebuild and develop the community in Sinjar.

This visit underscores the depth of bilateral relations and fosters future cooperation in supporting human rights and development initiatives in the region
